Mid-Day Keynote: Travis Kalanick, CEO of Uber

--Everyone's private driver.

"San Francisco and Paris are sister cities, in that it's equally impossible to get a cab on the street."

"How do we make it so that there is always a car 5 min away from you - through math... Heat map, anti-heat, what you left is under served market."

"Surge pricing is your friend. Higher demand drives higher price, so more cars will join and stay longer, and thus drives supply so no one is stranded."

"If you can deliver a car in 5 minutes, you can deliver anything. Recently we had Uber ice cream, Uber kitties..."

"We give riders high fives and give drivers hugs."

First Keynote: Bill Clerico, CEO of WePay

Inspirational story of the entrepreneurial journey with the founder and CEO of WePay, Bill Clerico.

"We were going this the wrong way. We were too focused on capital, when instead it should have been the product."

"The mindset is very important. We went from bankers in suit, trying to raise money, to four guys in an apartment, hacking away."

"Being an entrepreneur: how do you take limited resources, and apply ingenuity to make an impact."

"Internet payment fraud, in total volume, exceeds international drug trade... We shoulder the financial risks for the small businesses."

"We leverage social data to predict risks and fraud."

Great Q&A session using Pigeonhole!

Taxes can be innovative!!

So impressed with Intuit's huge leaps in mobile and digital innovation.

You can do taxes through your mobile app - the app pulls out data from a photo that you take of a W2, helping you do your taxes in 10 minutes. "It was so popular it displaced Angry Birds in the app marketplace during tax season." They made taxes sexy.

Just one of so many examples. Thanks for leading innovation, Intuit.
